Contents of the Fridge

Heh, seems I hit 10,000 views the other day. Thats a pretty big number right?

In other news I was recently at the Ottawa International Animation Festival. It was a ton of fun. In addition to watching a large number of films (In one day I watched 6 worth of shorts and a feature), I also got to attend a bunch of really cool presentations by some very talented people, including the likes of Henry Selick (Coraline), Ronnie Del Carmin (Up), and Eric Goldberg (Princess and The Frog), along with a few other very inspiring fellows.

I can promise I'll be back there next year

Art on the Fridge

Since starting the 3d part of my education, I have been hit by the inevitable drop-off in drawing that every 3rd year faces. It does feel weird not being able to draw as much as I want, but I am still fitting it in whenever I find a chance. Mostly in life drawing, but as well with sketching around the city. But I've also fit in a few instances of traditional animation to keep that fresh too.

Wish me luck on that front.

I worked quite a bit with Andrea this summer. She is always a wonderful help for improving my drawing
